Overview
School Student Portal is a mobile application designed for National Grammar School to streamline academic management and communication between teachers, students, and parents. Built using React Native, the app provides a centralized platform for homework management, attendance tracking, exam results, and parental oversight. The goal of the project was to create a secure, intuitive, and real-time digital portal that improves academic workflow, enhances student engagement, and strengthens parent-teacher communication.
The Problem
Traditional school administration often faces challenges such as:
• Manual homework assignments and result tracking
• Limited communication between teachers and parents
• Lack of real-time updates on student progress
• Data management difficulties for attendance and academic records
• Complex workflows for managing multiple user roles
The school required a modern solution that ensures role-based access, real-time updates, and a seamless user experience for all stakeholders.
The Solution
To address these challenges, we developed School Student Portal, a comprehensive mobile app that enables teachers, students, and parents to interact efficiently in a secure digital environment.

Responsibilities:
➢ Designed and developed a comprehensive student portal app for National Grammar School using React Native.
➢ Enabled teachers to upload daily homework, manage student attendance, and publish exam results through a connected backend.
➢ Created role-based access for students, teachers, and parents, ensuring data privacy and user-specific dashboards.
➢ Integrated parent portal features allowing guardians to track their child’s academic progress, attendance history, and performance reports.
➢ Used Firebase for real-time notifications (e.g., homework updates, result announcements) and MongoDB for structured data storage.
➢ Developed a smooth and intuitive UI/UX for seamless navigation across academic features.
